Job Overview: 

The Associate Product Communications Manager plays a key role in developing and implementing communication strategies within Rightworks' products with the goal of improving user engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This position is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented and motivated to learn and advance in areas such as product management, product operations, or product marketing. This role reports to the Director, Product Operations. 

This position involves supporting the development, coordination, and implementation of customer communications across various products and platforms, such as Pardot, Sunday Sky, Pendo, and DeskAlertz. The goal is to ensure that all messaging is consistent with our brand voice and tone and aligns with Rightworks' business objectives. 

This is a hybrid position, with 3 days per week (T, W, TH) in our Nashua, NH headquarters.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Product Marketers, and other Rightworks staff to develop strategies and messaging frameworks that inform and educate our users on new features, onboarding journeys, in-product surveys, and more.  

  • Partner with Customer Care and Success to discover opportunities to reduce support contacts using our messaging tools.  

  • Use segmentation and behavioral data to personalize messages based on user roles, usage patterns, and lifecycle stage. 

  • Partner with Product Communications, Design, Marketing and Brand teams, on best practices for tone, timing, frequency, and targeting of user communications. 

  • Monitor and analyze engagement metrics; A/B test messaging strategies and iterate based on performance, serving as an evangelist for data-driven decision-making.  

  • Ensure all user-facing content is clear, concise, accessible, and aligned with best practices.  

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/ GED required, additional education is a plus 

  • 1-3 years of experience 

  • Comfortable with (or eager to learn) agile product and software development concepts and ceremonies; and agile project management. 

  • Familiarity with (or eager to learn): Pendo or similar tool; Sunday Sky or similar tool; collaboration and communication tools like Teams, Confluence, and Jira; email marketing platforms like Pardot, Active Campaign, etc; Salesforce 

  • Proven ability to write (or eagerness to learn to write!) user-focused copy that drives engagement and action. 

  • Basic data analysis skills (e.g., understanding of performance metrics like open rates), including the ability to collect feedback and track trends and support campaign execution and performance tracking.  

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Team spirit, low drama, high energy! Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills to engage team members, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders.

  • Experience in a SaaS or tech company preferred.

  • This role is open to US Citizens or permanent residents authorized to work in the United States. Rightworks LLC is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
